Now entering its 25th year, the MDS provides Brooklyn families with a high-quality, nonprofit preschool for children 2 years to 6 years of age, and features an accredited Universal Pre-Kindergarten program. Our classrooms are stimulating, hands-on environments, with a high teacher-to-student ratio. The MDS faculty includes creative, well-trained teachers who are committed to fostering each child???s individual growth and development, curiosity, and readiness to learn. The Montessori Day School of Brooklyn serves children ages 2 years through 6 years, divided into toddler and preschool/kindergarten classes. We are hopeful that in the future we will be able to accommodate the infant and under twos toddler program.We have numerous options and schedules including full-day program 40-hour week (M-F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), part-time schedule 3 days a week, or an extended-day program 50-hour week (M-F 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Space permitting, other possible options include 2 days a week.We accept applications throughout the year.
