Sing, dance, act, and paint your way into Shortcut by Donald Crews!
In this four-session Dynamic Literacy Workshop, explore and examine
Shortcut's vibrant language and uniquely accessible illustrations.
Join us as we read this (rich) book and uncover treasures that you
never expected.

This child-led, creativity-based class potentially includes: close
reading of Shortcut by Donald Crews; creation and performance of dance
and theater pieces, interpreting text both literally and thematically;
recognition and manipulation of onomatopoeia through music and rhythm;
analysis of Crews-style illustration and painting original works in
similar styles; informal sharing of our favorite stories.

Cost: $140 (includes four sessions and all materials).
50% deposit required upon registration; balance due at first session.

Registration is first-come, first served with a cap of ten children.
