Brooklyn Kids Rock is launching this fall! Founded by local musician and music teacher Peira (PS 321, Artscetera, Music for Aardvarks), Brooklyn Kids Rock gives kids ages 8-14 (or 3rd grade to 9th grade) the opportunity to play in a live band setting. After a 10 week semester of covering bands from The Pixies to The Ramones, the kids of BKR will put on a show in a real New York City venue! ???This is the program I would have loved to have had around when I was a kid??? says Peira. ???I???m excited to create this opportunity for the next generation.???
