Jana Dehovitz, MD

Dr Dehovitz was born in Czech Republic; she received medical degree from Charles University, Prague. While completing her last year in medical school, she was offered research position at Department of Surgery at SUNY, HSC Brooklyn. After several years in research, she entered Pediatric Residency at St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital and after completion, she joined pediatric team at Hospital for Joint Diseases, with main focus at perioperative management of pediatric orthopedic patients.

In 2000, Dr. Dehovitz joined Tribeca Pediatrics to fulfill her desire to follow patients as they reach their milestones. In 2003 she became a partner at Tribeca Pediatrics which resulted in opening of a second location Tribeca Pediatrics/Brooklyn Heights. Present Brooklyn Heights Pediatrics was established January 1st, 2008 after division of Tribeca Pediatrics. Dr. Dehovitz has two teenage children. Dr. Dehovitz is Board Certified; she speaks English, Czech and Slovak. Lauren Schulwolf, MD

Dr. Schulwolf graduated from SUNY, HSC at Brooklyn and completed her training at NYU/Bellevue Hospital. Prior to becoming a Board Certified pediatrician, she volunteered for the Peace Corps and worked with children in Africa and Europe.

After graduating from her residency program, she joined a pediatric practice in New Rochelle. Dr. Schulwolf has two children, a 5 year old boy and a 6 months old girl and speaks English and German.
