Inspired by the birth of my daughter, Ruby, I wanted to find a way to support and empower expectant mothers as they prepare their body and mind for childbirth. I believe birth is a dance between mother and baby and throughout this amazing yet delicate time, a mother deserves unconditional emotional and physical support to birth however she wishes and however her body intended her to.
Currently, I am a DONA trained doula working towards my certification and I am available to support women in the NYC area. My services include the following:
-One prenatal visit around 34 weeks where we can discuss your birth wishes
-Assistance in writing your birth plan, if desired
-Unlimited phone and email consultations leading up to your birth
-24 hour on call access starting 2 weeks prior to your due date and until the birth of your baby
-Undivided emotional and physical support for the duration of your labor and birth
-Fostering an environment best for mother and baby bonding immediately after birth including breastfeeding support
-One postpartum visit to discuss the birth, the postpartum process and follow up on breastfeeding
-Resource list of prenatal, postnatal and baby care services
Additionally, I can also offer the following:
-Prenatal yoga and movement private sessions focusing on breathing and pelvic floor exercises
-Postpartum exercise routines and private sessions
-Babywearing consultation
-Cloth Diaper consultation
-Postpartum meal preparation
