I wanted to let you know that a new hair studio is launching this weekend in Carroll Gardens, which I think is super exciting because we actually don't have a lot of "high-end" options. There's Salon Du Quartier, but other than that, the pickings are slim. It's is a one-chair studio on luquer and court. It's called The Bird House, www.birdhousenyc.com. The owner, Brooke Hunt, does an amazing job. And she's pretty affordable. I've LOVED the work she's done on my hair.
